Every year since we've been engaged, Brandon and I have made our way back to Michigan to reunite with my family over the holidays. This year was made extra special as we had the pleasure of catching up with my childhood best friend, Jen, and her husband, Brandon. Yes, you read it right—we both ended up marrying men who share the same first name. Talk about having our best friend bond down to a science!

We planned our photo session in Frankenmuth, which is basically a Christmastown. This charming Bavarian-inspired town is decked out in holiday decor year-round, and being there truly inspired me. You know how much I love the Christmas season, so getting to spend time in a city that celebrates it constantly was like being in my happy place.

Despite the cloudy weather, Jen and Brandon were absolute champs during the session. They completely owned it, and can we just take a moment to appreciate their impeccable fashion sense? They looked like they stepped right out of a fashion magazine, which made our job very easy.
