leah & david
We LOVE working with return clients. Leah & David are no exception. Brandon and I first photographed Leah and David back in 2020, so you can imagine my excitement when Leah reached out for an updated couple's session, with a sprinkle of family magic. This time, we had the pleasure of meeting their adorable baby girl, Atlas. Initially shy, Atlas quickly warmed up to us, especially Brandon. By the end of the session, she was happily walking hand in hand with him. It was heartwarming to witness.
Our first shoot at Long's Park was an unexpected delight, and I couldn't believe it took me this long to discover its breathtaking beauty. With the cherry blossoms in full bloom, you couldn't help but fall in love with the splendor of spring. However, appearances can be deceiving. Despite the sunshine, the weather hadn't quite caught up to the warm aesthetic we captured. This session marked both the first and last time I'll ever shoot without a jacket in iffy spring weather. By the end of the shoot, I was chilled to the bone. Thankfully, Brandon is a human furnace, and I shamelessly hugged him for warmth.
I couldn't tell if Leah and David were cold, but if they were, they definitely didn't show! We had an incredible time with the Colby family. We captured not only the intimate moments between Leah and David but also the fast-paced, excitable moments of parenthood with mom, dad and Atlas. From tender embraces to playful interactions, every moment was filled with love and happiness.
